Sorry for being gone for so long. I actually forgot I even started a Blogger post. So what is this blog going to be about? Well...everything. From everyday things to reviews of books, makeup, coloring, home goods, and stores that I find that have cheap prices on good buys. I am on disability so I search for the best prices on every day needed and needless things. Sometimes I splurge but even when I splurge I search for the best prices. Even if that means having something shipped from overseas.
Well for an update, as I said I am still on disability. I was going to try and go back to work, I have the job when I am able to go back to work. I really would love to go back to work, I absolutely despise being on disability. Life is so boring and I do not know anyone, nor do I have a way to meet anyone. There's only so many things a person can do before their minds get bored. There's only so much YouTube a person can take, lol. And when YouTube went down for those two hours a couple weeks ago and everyone jumped on Twitter to discuss that they no longer had anything to do was an eye-opener for me. I have such a boring life, lol. So I'm going to talk with my doctor once again and see if he will force pain management to see me again. The Canadian cold front moved through here a couple weeks ago and the pain was so bad I couldn't even walk or stand without passing out from the pain.
I went to my daughter's classroom the other day. I was invited by her teacher to sit in on a math lesson she was doing. Her teacher is so good at what she does. She has a way to get the students to understand and if they don't she actually works with them one on one. She is such a wonderful teacher. I wrote her an e-mail praising her and letting her know how much I enjoyed myself in her class. We as parents sometimes forget to let the teachers of our students know how special and great they are. Well, that's if they are special and great. My daughter has had a couple teachers that were less than pleasing. But that is why parents need to praise the teachers when they do a good job, so they know that their work is noticed and appreciated. And they stay excited about their jobs. Just think about it if people always came to you and told you how you were less than at your job or if you were not noticed for a job well done, you would get less motivated to do your job. So praise your children's teachers, say thank you to your cashiers, and give your employees a high five when they do a good job. Sometimes we get so caught up in our own lives that we forget about everyone else doing theirs and helping us.
It is so much easier to pass on positivity than negativity. If we want something to change in our world we have to start with ourselves and do it. A simple thank you can make a persons day!!!
